The Replit alternative for shipping a site, not running an IDE

Replit's pitch is direct: describe what you want and it builds a working app, with the whole development environment in the browser. Zeplik Sites is narrower on purpose. It builds and publishes websites and web apps from the same chat you use for everything else, checks each build in a real browser, and leaves you with an ordinary Next.js project in your own GitHub.

Why people switch to Zeplik

You wanted a site, not a workspace

An IDE in the browser is the right answer when you intend to write code. If you intend to describe a site and have it exist, the environment is overhead.

Edits by asking, scoped on purpose

Move the pricing section, change the tone, add a contact form. Targeted edits touch only the files they need, which is what stops a small change rewriting a page you were happy with.

Real code, in your repository

Next.js and React, committed to your GitHub. If you later do want an editor, the project opens in any of them.

One thread, one balance

The research, the copy, the images and the build all happen in the same conversation on the same credits.

Where Replit is the better pick

No tool wins at everything. Here is where Replit is genuinely the stronger choice, so you can decide honestly.

How to try Zeplik

  1. Describe the site

What it is for and who it is for, in ordinary sentences.

  2. Watch and redirect

It plans the pages, writes the code and runs it in a private live preview you can steer while it works.

  3. Publish

One action puts it live with HTTPS. Attach your own domain whenever you are ready, and republish any time.

Frequently asked questions

Can I edit the code directly on Zeplik?
You edit by asking, and the project lands in your GitHub where you can open it in any editor. Zeplik Sites does not ship an in-browser IDE; if that is what you want, a development platform is the better fit.
What stack does it build in?
Next.js and React, as an ordinary project with the files you would have written by hand.
Can it build something with a database and sign-in?
Yes. Connect your own Supabase project and the build wires auth, tables and queries into the app, with the data in your account.
Is the builder a separate subscription?
No. It draws on the same Zeplik credit balance as chat, research and media generation.

The bottom line

If you want a complete development environment with an agent in it -- and the ability to drop into the code at any moment -- Replit is the stronger product and is built for that. If you want the site to exist without adopting a workspace, and you want the assistant that built it to also do the rest of your work, Zeplik is the alternative. Free to start.
