Incognito AI chat

Some conversations should not stick around. An incognito chat on Zeplik is a full, private session that is never saved to your history, added to memory, or used to train models. The transcript lives only in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. It is not a cut-down box either: you get the whole chat, every model, tools, files and image generation, exactly like normal, just with no record left behind.

Opens a private session with your message ready to review. Nothing sends on its own, and incognito still runs the real models, so any spend is confirmed by you first.

What is saved, and what is not

The whole point of incognito is knowing exactly what happens to your words. Here is the honest, item-by-item posture, including the two things that stay on for a real reason.

Not storedConversation history

No conversation or message row is ever written. The session never appears in your chat list or search, on any device.

Not storedLong-term memory

Nothing you say is extracted into memory or used to personalize future chats. Incognito turns are invisible to the memory system.

Not storedModel training

Incognito conversations are not used to train or fine-tune any model.

Not storedThe transcript itself

It lives only in this browser tab (per-tab session storage). A refresh keeps it; closing the tab erases it. The discard button clears it instantly.

StoredGenerated files and images

A picture or document has to exist somewhere to be viewable, so the binary is stored to deliver it to you, with no database row and no link to your account or history. It is not added to your files panel.

StoredCredits

Incognito runs the real models, so a turn draws from your credit balance exactly like a normal chat. Billing is the one thing that stays on; the exact cost is shown before you send.

How it works

  1. Open an incognito session

Start one from the prompt box on this page, from the ghost icon on any Zeplik dashboard, or with the keyboard shortcut Shift plus Command plus I. Incognito takes over the whole screen so the app behind it never shows through.

  2. Chat with full parity

It is the real chat, not a stripped-down box. Pick any model, switch response styles, attach files, use skills and tools, generate images and decks. Everything works the same as a normal conversation.

  3. Close it to erase it

The transcript stays only in the current tab. Refreshing keeps your place; closing the tab or hitting discard wipes it for good. Nothing is left behind in your account.

When an incognito chat helps

Frequently asked questions

Is an incognito chat really private?
Yes. No conversation or message is written to your account: the session never lands in your history, search index, or memory, and it is not used to train models. The transcript exists only in the current browser tab and is erased when you close it. The one thing that stays on is billing, because incognito runs the real models.
Does incognito still cost credits?
Yes. Incognito is full-strength chat running the same models, tools and media generators, so each turn draws from your credit balance exactly like a normal conversation. The exact cost is shown in the composer before you send, so nothing is spent by surprise. What you do not pay with is your privacy: no record of the chat is kept.
What happens to images or files I generate in incognito?
A generated image, PDF, video or audio file has to be stored somewhere to be viewable, so the binary is saved and delivered to you, but with no database row and no link to your account, history, memory or training. It is not added to your files panel. When the tab closes, you simply lose the link.
Does the conversation survive a page refresh?
Yes, within the same tab. The transcript is held in per-tab session storage, so a refresh restores it and your armed images and files come back. Closing the tab, or opening the same link in a new tab, starts fresh with nothing carried over.
Do I need an account to use incognito?
Yes. Because incognito still runs the real models and charges credits, it is available to signed-in accounts. If you follow an incognito link while signed out, you land on Zeplik and sign in first, then open incognito from the ghost icon or the shortcut.
How is this different from my browser's incognito window?
A browser incognito window only stops your browser from saving local history and cookies; the site you visit can still store everything server-side. Zeplik incognito is the opposite: it is the server that keeps no record. It works regardless of which browser window you are in.
