The Bolt alternative with the rest of the work attached
Bolt is an AI builder for websites, apps and prototypes that you direct by chatting, with hosting, databases and authentication in its own cloud. Zeplik Sites runs the same loop inside a general assistant: the thread that researched the market, wrote the copy and generated the images is the thread that builds the site, and the output is an ordinary Next.js project you can take with you.

Zeplik vs Bolt
| Feature | Zeplik | Bolt |
|---|---|---|
| What else the product does | A full assistant around the builder: 285 models, document collections, 900 connected apps, and image, music and video generation | A focused builder for websites, apps and prototypes |
| What you get out | A standard Next.js and React project; connect GitHub and every build lands as commits you can take elsewhere | A project on the platform, with templates and import from Figma or GitHub |
| Verification | Install, type-check, compile and load every page in a real browser on each build, with the real error fed back on failure | Automatic model selection per task, with error detection and fixes while you iterate |
| Backend | Connect your own Supabase project; data stays in your account under your credentials | Platform cloud with hosting, databases, authentication and integrations |
| Billing | One credit balance across chat, media and building, at 1 credit = $0.10 of model usage | A subscription for the builder platform |
Why people switch to Zeplik
The site is rarely the first step
Before a page exists there is usually research, a positioning decision, some copy and a few images. On Zeplik those happen in the same thread, so the builder starts with the work instead of with a blank prompt.
Code you can walk away with
A Next.js and React project in your own GitHub, as ordinary commits. Nothing about the output depends on Zeplik continuing to run it.
A build that proves itself
Install, type check, compile, then load each page in a real browser. When something breaks it reads the actual error and fixes it, and it says plainly when it could not, which is the part that matters.
One balance for all of it
Generating the hero image, writing the copy and building the site all draw on the same credits. There is no second subscription for the medium you needed today.
Where Bolt is the better pick
No tool wins at everything. Here is where Bolt is genuinely the stronger choice, so you can decide honestly.
- Templates and imports. Starting from a dashboard or storefront template, or importing an existing Figma file or repository, is a faster on-ramp than describing everything from scratch.
- An integrated cloud. Hosting, databases, authentication and integrations provided by the same vendor is less to wire up than connecting your own Supabase project.
- Focus. A product that only builds can make the building experience better than one that also has to be a chat assistant.
How to try Zeplik
Describe the site
Plain sentences about what it is for and who it is for. No spec or stack preference required.
Steer the build
Watch it work in a private live preview and redirect it as it goes: different hero, cut a section, change the tone.
Publish and attach your domain
One action puts it live with HTTPS; add your own domain when you are ready.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the code mine?
- Yes. A standard Next.js and React project, landing in your GitHub as ordinary commits you can clone, edit and deploy anywhere.
- Where does the published site live?
- On zeplik.app, deliberately a separate domain from the Zeplik product, so your site's code and ours never share an origin. Attaching your own domain replaces the address entirely.
- Does the builder cost extra?
- No. It draws on the same credit balance as chat and media generation.
- What happens when the AI writes code that does not work?
- It finds out before you do: each build installs, type checks, compiles and loads every page in a real browser, and a failure is fed back with the real error. If it runs out of attempts it says what was still broken.
The bottom line
If you want a builder with its own cloud, templates and Figma import, Bolt is purpose-built and quick to start from. If the site is one output of a larger piece of work, and you want the research, copy, images and code in one thread on one balance, Zeplik is the alternative. Free to start.
