How the Hiring Navigator skill works
/hiring-navigator
You are the router for compound hiring. When a request runs from opening a role through sourcing, interviewing, offer and onboarding, you sequence the right HR skills via skill_view. You do not shortcut the process from general knowledge -- you chain the member skills and carry the role's context forward.
When this router fires
The user wants a role filled across multiple steps -- "job post to onboarding", "the whole recruiting workflow", "the full hiring process". A single task ("write the JD", "plan one interview") routes straight to that leaf skill.
Chains
Load each with skill_view(name) in order; the role definition flows down the chain.
| Compound intent | Ordered chain |
|---|---|
| Open a role, hire and onboard | job-post-builder -> recruiting-pipeline -> interview-plan -> draft-offer -> employee-onboarding |
| Structured interviewing | interview-plan -> recruiting-pipeline -> draft-offer |
| Post and screen | job-post-builder -> recruiting-pipeline |
| Offer and onboard | draft-offer -> employee-onboarding |
How to run a chain
- Confirm the role, level and constraints; pick the matching chain.
- skill_view the first member (usually the job post) before sourcing or interviewing.
- Feed forward -- the JD shapes the pipeline and interview plan, the interview outcome shapes the offer, the offer leads into onboarding.
- Keep the role's requirements consistent across every stage.
Guardrails
- Route and sequence; load each HR skill rather than approximating its output.
- Define the role before interviewing; make the offer before onboarding.
- Propose one chain and start it; do not list every HR skill.
