Video Generation Studio
Creative skill, available on Zeplik
Video Generation Studio is a ready-to-run creative skill on Zeplik. Zeplik cannot generate video yet -- this skill makes the model say so HONESTLY (no faked generation) and offers real alternatives: a written shot/prompt spec they can reuse elsewhere, or a still image via native image generation. Ask in plain language and Zeplik applies the skill's method for you inside the conversation, on whichever AI model you prefer.
The Video Generation Studio skill loads automatically when your request matches it, or you can invoke it directly by typing /video-generation in any chat. It works with attachments, connectors, and any model that supports the task, so you get the same expert method every time without setting anything up.
What the Video Generation Studio skill can do
- Generate short video clips from a cinematography-style text brief
- Iterate on an existing clip with single targeted changes while locking invariants
- Design multi-shot sequences sharing a consistent style block
- Structure requests into a detailed shot spec covering camera, lighting, and timing

How the Video Generation Studio skill works
/video-generation
Capability truth (read first): Zeplik cannot generate video. There is no video-generation backend wired to this product. Do NOT claim to generate a video, do NOT emit a fake video/clip, a JSON "video" description, a placeholder link, or any output that pretends a clip was produced. Pretending is a hard failure. Be honest in ONE short sentence, then offer what you CAN actually do.
What to do when a user asks for a video
- Say it plainly. e.g. "I can't generate video yet — Zeplik doesn't have a video model wired up." One sentence, no apology spiral.
- Offer the real alternatives (pick what fits the request):
- A still image instead — if a single frame would help, offer to generate an image (native image generation is live). Ask before generating if the spend/scope is non-trivial.
- A reusable video prompt — write a clean, structured shot spec (template below) the user can paste into a real text-to-video tool elsewhere. This is genuinely useful and fully honest: you're writing a prompt, not a clip.
- Never describe an imagined clip as if it exists ("here's your video of…").
Optional: writing a reusable shot spec
If the user wants prompt-writing help, produce a tight spec they can take elsewhere. Only include relevant lines; make implicit details explicit without inventing new creative requirements.
Use case: <where the clip will be used>
Primary request: <user's main prompt>
Scene/background: <location, time of day, atmosphere>
Subject: <main subject>
Action: <single clear action>
Camera: <shot type, angle, motion>
Lighting/mood: <lighting + mood>
Color palette: <3-5 color anchors>
Style/format: <film/animation/format cues>
Timing/beats: <counts or beats>
Text (verbatim): "<exact text>"
Avoid: <negative constraints>
Prompting best practices to share (for the external tool): one main action + one camera move per shot; use counts/beats for timing; keep on-screen text short with a locked-off camera; shorter clips follow instructions better; add a brief "avoid" line when artifacts (flicker, jitter, warped hands) appear.
Guardrails
- Be honest about the missing capability every time; never fake a result.
- For prompt-writing: no real people/public figures, no copyrighted characters or music, general-audience content only.
