Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions and credit purchases made from Zeplik, Inc. ("Zeplik", "we", "us"), 1111B S Governors Ave, Dover, DE 19904, United States. It supplements our Terms of Service. Except as described below or as required by applicable law, payments are final and non-refundable.

Because AI usage has a real per-request cost to us, refund eligibility depends on how many credits you have used, as set out below. Credit usage is measured by our metering records at the time your request is received.

2. First-time purchases

If this is your first purchase of a given plan, you can request a full refund within the window below, provided your usage is at or below the threshold:

  • Monthly and quarterly plans: full refund within 12 hours of purchase if you have used 5 credits or fewer.
  • Yearly plans: full refund within 24 hours of purchase if you have used 7 credits or fewer.

These windows exist so you can verify the Service works for you. Once the window has passed or usage exceeds the threshold, the purchase is non-refundable except as provided in Sections 3 and 4.

3. Renewals

If a subscription renews and you did not intend to continue, contact us within 12 hours of the renewal charge. If your usage in the new billing period is minimal (no more than the thresholds in Section 2), we will refund 50% of the renewal charge and cancel the subscription at your request. To avoid renewal charges entirely, cancel before the end of your current billing period; cancellation is available at any time in settings.

4. EU, UK, and Turkey

If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or Turkey, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of purchase. By starting to use the Service during this period, you expressly request immediate performance of digital services and acknowledge that your withdrawal right is limited accordingly.

Within the 14-day window we will refund:

  • in full, if you have used no more than 5 credits (monthly or quarterly plans) or 7 credits (yearly plans);
  • otherwise, proportionally, deducting the value of the credits you have consumed from the amount paid.

5. Credit top-ups

One-time credit top-ups are refundable within 12 hours of purchase only if none of the purchased credits have been used. Once any top-up credit is consumed, the top-up is non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Non-refundable circumstances

Refunds are not available for:

  • requests made outside the windows or above the usage thresholds described above;
  • unused credits at the end of a billing period, or unused time after you cancel;
  • dissatisfaction with the output of a specific AI model, where the Service itself functioned (model output is probabilistic; see our Terms);
  • temporary unavailability of a specific third-party model, where comparable models remained available;
  • accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service;
  • free credits and promotional allowances, which have no cash value;
  • charges older than the applicable window, except where required by law.

Nothing in this section limits refunds we are required to provide by applicable consumer law, or refunds where the Service materially failed to function and we could not remedy the failure.

7. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account with the subject "Refund request", including the date of the charge and the reason for the request. We review requests against the criteria above and respond within 2 business days.

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Chargebacks filed while a refund request is being processed may delay resolution, and accounts with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.

8. Processing

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. Refunds are issued in the currency of the original charge; we are not responsible for differences caused by exchange-rate movements or bank fees. When a refund is issued, the associated credits and plan access are revoked.

9. Cancelling without a refund

You can cancel your subscription at any time in settings. Cancellation stops future charges; you keep your plan and remaining credits until the end of the current billing period. Cancellation itself never incurs a fee.
